Great times in August!!

Ekka EkKa EKka!!

Ekka is one of the biggest events here in Brisbane. They have it once a year for a week. There is lots of exhibitions, games, foods, goodies and farm animals to be seen. We, being the newbies in Brissie, this is a must go place for us. And so, we went on the very first day.LOL *Feels so Singaporean*akhem...no offense!=) We went that day cause it was our free day and its not that crowded during the weekdays..;)

Ekka was great! to me.....ha ha Was tiring but it was worth it for a first timer..;) Didn't ride on any rides...probably cause we don't have sufficient time....Went for Joel's farewell after that!=)

We went to Riverside one night for a light refreshment.ha ha Yea, we being really loyal students, we went to a restaurant opened by University of Queensland!;) Nah, it was just a coincidence..=p

Doulos
the final voyage...

One Saturday, Judah 5 organized an outing to Doulos, in Bretts Wharf. Finally i got a chance to step on the ship.=) Didn't get a chance when it was in Malaysia.

After 94 years at sea, Doulos purpose is bringing God's word to many countries of the world. MV Doulos made the final voyage here in Australia. On the ship, there is a world famous bookshop, and you can enjoy a superb coffee and talk to members of Doulos crew. Pictures ahead....

Then we had lunch nearby, Seafood=) This is what we ate, Fish n Chip, Avocado n prawn salad and fishcake. I can say its the best Fish n Chip tasted so far...;) *yummy*
