in difficult times...

It's really a blessing to have sisters that are rooted in the word of God...
they are my encourager...and i love them so much!

My mentor, Shannon, said something that touched me so much and it goes like this;
"When the petals are on the floor.....and it all looks gloomy,
Look up and realize new flowers are budding!"

It spoke to me..the petals on the floor that is gloomy represents things that we may be experiencing that is pulling us down. For example; problems, struggles, disappointment, regrets, sadness, oppression, depression, unforgiveness, etc. If we focus on the problems and struggles, we won't be able to see what is ahead. The many blessings that God prepared for us.

There will be a waiting period between the budding and blooming of flowers. It is the period that we are waiting for God's promises to be seen and done in our lives. God has a amazing plan for everyone, but first God needs to prepare us to receive it. Trials and waiting period will be painful but always remember that, in all we are going through, God is with us!

Continue believing God,
Continue trusting God,
Continue seeking Him and,
Drawing close to Him each day..
I believe God will speak to you!!

Be blessed!
Ev

Pastor James MacDonald just wrote an amazing book on God's promises, called Always True. Your post reminded me of the first of the 5 promises in his book: God is always with me.
